ENDOMÉTRIOSE - Soirée d’information - Journée mondiale contre l'endométriose

FR: On dit qu’une femme sur dix est atteinte d’endométriose. Les personnes concernées souffrent p.ex. de menstruations douloureuses et fortes, de fatigue, d’infertilité, de problèmes liés à l’intestin et à la vessie. Bien que la recherche autour de cette condition a augmenté fortement ces dernières années, se passent - des premiers symptômes au diagnostic et traitement - en moyenne entre 7 et 10 ans.Dans le cadre de la journée mondiale contre l'endométriose le 30 mars 2022, la Ville de Luxembourg une conférence avec table-ronde, afin de donner de la visibilité à cette maladie qui, au jour d'aujourd'hui, est encore très peu connue, autant par le grand-public, les patientes elles-mêmes et de nombreux professionnels de santé.  Cette conférence et table-ronde avec différent·e·s expert·e·s sensibilise à l’endométriose : expliquer ce que c’est, comment la traiter, où trouver du soutien. Pour cette conférence, nous recherchons des personnes atteintes d'endométriose pour participer à cet événement le 10 mai et peut-être partager leurs expériences.

Tu es non-binaire ou trans et tu souffre de l'endométriose? Nous sommes à la recherche de ton témoignage! Le 10 mai, il y aura une conférence sur le sujet de l'endométriose à Luxembourg Ville et nous voulons inclure les vécus des personnes de la communauté queer.

Nous tenons à souligner que l'endométriose est une maladie chronique qui ne touche pas que les femmes. Les hommes trans et les personnes non binaires sont souvent invisibles dans la discussion et nous voulons changer cela. Nous voulons connaître ton histoire. Il peut être écrit ou sous forme de fichier audio ou vidéo. Tu peux rester anonyme si tu le souhaites. Although research into this condition has increased significantly in recent years, the average time from first symptoms to diagnosis and treatment is between 7 and 10 years. As part of the World Endometriosis Day on 30 March 2022, the City of Luxembourg is organising a conference with a round table, in order to give visibility to this disease which, to this day, is still very little known, both by the general public, the patients themselves and many health professionals. This conference and round-table discussion with various experts raises awareness of endometriosis: what it is, how to treat it, where to find support. Are you non-binary or trans and suffering from endometriosis? We are looking for your testimony! On may 10th, a conference around the subject of endometriosis will take place in Luxembourg and we want to include stories of people from the queer community. We want to highlight that endometriosis is a chronic illness which is not only affecting women. Trans men and non-binary people are often invisible in the discussion and we want to change this.
