Den Samsdeg 3. Juni 2023 um 14h fënnt en LGBTIQ+ Fussballsmatch am Stade Josy Barthel statt, organiséiert vun der Associatioun Centre LGBTIQ+ Cigale an ënnerstëtzt vun der Stad Lëtzebuerg. Et handelt sech em e symboleschen Tournoi bei deem Fräizäitspiller.innen zesummen mat Spiller.innen aus der LGBTIQ+ Communautéit spillen kënnen dëst mam Zil op d’Herausfuerderungen opmierksam ze man déi Persounen aus der LGBTIQ+ Communitéit erliewen am Kader vum Sport.

EN: Dear friends and partners of Cigale, We’d like to invite you to our football tournament on the 3rd of June at 2pm. You can join as an individual player, as a team or as a supporter. Everybody is welcome!

This is a call to our partners and friends who love football and/or want to work towards a better inclusion of queer people in sports. On Saturday, 3rd of June 2023, an LGBTIQ+ football tournament will take place at Stade Josy Barthel, organized by Centre LGBTIQ+ Cigale and supported by the City of Luxembourg @villedeluxembourg . It’s a symbolic tournament in which members of the community and their allies can play together to raise awareness for the difficulties which queer people face in sports. After the tournament we will have a BBQ and drinks to celebrate this beautiful day.

Football and other sports are for everyone and nobody should feel or be excluded . You and your friends are invited to join us, as a player, referee or supporter.

How you can join?

• As a team! Do you want to join with friends? Sign up now with all your team mates.
•  No team? No problem! You can sign up anyway and we will team you up with others.
• Allies, Supporter, Cheerleader, family and friend. You don’t want to play but really want to come anyway and support? Also no problem, we welcome everyone to join our football game. The more the merrier.
